Smitha has provided user centric design to many industries such as enterprise solutions, retail, eCommerce, banking and travel. She has been responsible for gathering, understanding and analyzing UX requirements; translating complex business problems into design solutions including appropriate documentation. She has created user models, including personas and scenarios, and produced artifacts such as wireframes, flowcharts, storyboards, interaction design specs and/or functional specs. She has also supported sales by ideating and crafting the user experience approach for proposals.

Define and design one of the first major mobile commerce products of its kind on the iPhone, Android and Windows phone app for The Home Depot. 

Mobile Banking

The Firethorn Mobile Banking app was initially designed for feature phones and Blackberry. When the iPhone was launched, it was one of the first externally developed apps.


A now redundant application on a redundant tablet, this was one of the apps released along with the tablet itself.
